The Daily Check-In is one of the simplest ways to earn PLX on PLX Network: open the app, claim your reward and keep your streak alive. As of 3 October 2026, the way streak rewards grow has been updated. Rewards still increase with every consecutive day, but the daily increase now becomes smaller as a streak gets longer. This guide explains how the Daily Check-In works, what changed and why, and exactly what you can expect to earn.
At a glance
- One check-in reward per day. The day resets at 00:00 UTC.
- Check in on consecutive days to build a streak, up to a maximum of Day 365. Missing a day restarts the streak at Day 1.
- Rewards still rise every day, but the daily increase tapers as the streak grows.
- Existing streaks are not reset. Only the reward amounts changed.
How the Daily Check-In works
The Daily Check-In is a streak-based reward system. It rewards showing up consistently, and the rules are simple:
- One claim per day. Each user can claim one check-in reward per day.
- A fixed daily reset. A new day begins at 00:00 UTC (12:00 AM UTC). This is a universal time and does not follow your local time zone.
- Streaks. Check in on consecutive days to build a streak. Every streak day pays more than the day before.
- Missed days. If you miss a day, your streak restarts at Day 1.
- Maximum streak. The streak counts up to a maximum of Day 365.
- Where the reward goes. Each reward is added to your spendable balance and to your lifetime rewards total. Every claim appears in your transaction history as a "streak bonus".
What changed, and why
Previously, the daily reward was calculated as streak day × 10 PLX. That meant the reward grew by 10 PLX every single day: Day 30 paid 300 PLX, Day 60 paid 600 PLX and Day 365 paid 3,650 PLX. This linear growth became too fast as streaks got longer.
Under the updated structure the reward still goes up every day, but the daily increase gets smaller as the streak grows. Early streak days keep their strong momentum, while very long streaks grow at a steadier pace. The goal is a Daily Check-In that stays rewarding for consistent users while remaining balanced and sustainable for the PLX ecosystem as a whole.
The new reward structure
The streak is divided into five stages. Within each stage the reward rises by a fixed amount per day, and the amount of that increase becomes smaller from one stage to the next:
| Streak days | Daily increase | Reward range |
|---|---|---|
| 1 – 5 | +10 PLX | 10 to 50 PLX |
| 6 – 15 | +5 PLX | 55 to 100 PLX |
| 16 – 30 | +3 PLX | 103 to 145 PLX |
| 31 – 60 | +2 PLX | 147 to 205 PLX |
| 61 – 365 | +1 PLX | 206 to 510 PLX |
Because each stage starts higher than the previous stage ended, the reward never drops when you move up a stage. For example, Day 6 pays 55 PLX, which is more than Day 5 at 50 PLX.
How to calculate the reward for any streak day
Each stage continues from where the previous one ended. The reward for any day is the last reward of the previous stage plus the daily increase for every day you have spent in the current stage:
| Streak days | Formula | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 1 – 5 | 10 × day | Day 4 = 40 PLX |
| 6 – 15 | 50 + 5 × (day − 5) | Day 10 = 75 PLX |
| 16 – 30 | 100 + 3 × (day − 15) | Day 20 = 115 PLX |
| 31 – 60 | 145 + 2 × (day − 30) | Day 45 = 175 PLX |
| 61 – 365 | 205 + 1 × (day − 60) | Day 100 = 245 PLX |
Previous rewards vs updated rewards
Streaks up to Day 5 are unchanged. The difference grows with streak length, because the previous formula grew fastest on long streaks:
| Streak day | Previous reward | Updated reward |
|---|---|---|
| Day 5 | 50 PLX | 50 PLX |
| Day 15 | 150 PLX | 100 PLX |
| Day 30 | 300 PLX | 145 PLX |
| Day 60 | 600 PLX | 205 PLX |
| Day 100 | 1,000 PLX | 245 PLX |
| Day 365 | 3,650 PLX | 510 PLX |
What a streak earns over time
For planning purposes, this is the total check-in PLX earned by an unbroken streak under the updated structure, calculated from the stages above:
| Unbroken streak | Total check-in PLX earned |
|---|---|
| 7 days | 265 PLX |
| 30 days | 2,785 PLX |
| 60 days | 8,065 PLX |
| 100 days | 17,085 PLX |
| 365 days | 117,255 PLX |
Good to know
- Your streak is safe. Existing streaks are not reset by this update. Your current streak day carries on; only the reward amounts changed.
- Rewards never drop between stages. Moving from one stage to the next always increases your daily reward.
- Long streaks will notice a difference. If you are on a long streak, your daily reward will be smaller than it was under the previous formula. This is expected under the updated structure.
Protect your streak: know your reset time
The day resets at 00:00 UTC, not at midnight in your own time zone. To find your local reset time, add your UTC offset to 00:00. A few examples:
| Your time zone | UTC offset | Daily reset in your local time |
|---|---|---|
| Pakistan | UTC+5 | 05:00 AM |
| India | UTC+5:30 | 05:30 AM |
| Bangladesh | UTC+6 | 06:00 AM |
| United Arab Emirates | UTC+4 | 04:00 AM |
| Nigeria | UTC+1 | 01:00 AM |
| Brazil (Brasília) | UTC−3 | 09:00 PM (previous day) |
A missed day is not recoverable: your streak restarts at Day 1. Claim your reward early in your day, rather than near the reset, so a busy schedule never costs you your streak.
Referral rewards and community incentives
Referral rewards and community incentives may be adjusted from time to time to support the long-term sustainability of the PLX ecosystem. Any such adjustments will be managed in accordance with the tokenomics, reward structures, and guidelines outlined in the official PLX whitepapers, while maintaining a balanced and sustainable approach to community rewards and incentives.
To learn more about how rewards and supply are structured, read the Tokenomics & Supply chapter and the Roadmap in the PLX Whitepaper.
