PLX is the native coin of the Parallax Network ecosystem. It is earned exclusively through cloud mining sessions, referral rewards, streak bonuses, and ad boosts. PLX has a hard-capped supply of 1 billion coins distributed over a 3-year mining phase. It is not a publicly traded cryptocurrency yet — exchange listing is planned after the mining phase concludes.

Currently Parallax Network is available on Android only via Google Play. An iOS version is planned for a future release. Follow our Telegram for updates on the iOS launch.

Yes — the PLX Network app is completely free to download and use. There are no subscriptions, no paid plans, and no hidden fees. The only optional action is watching ads to activate a temporary 2x mining boost, which is entirely your choice.

The app runs on any Android device with Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later. It is lightweight — under 20MB — and designed to run smoothly on both budget and flagship devices. iOS support is coming in a future update.

PLX exchange listing is planned after the 3-year mining phase. The project follows a mine-first, list-later model — similar to Pi Network — where a large user base is built before token trading begins. This protects early miners from early price dumps. We will announce the listing date via the app and our Telegram channel.

The total supply of PLX is hard-capped at 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) PLX. No new tokens will ever be minted beyond this cap. 55% (550M PLX) is allocated to mining rewards, distributed over 3 years via a halving schedule. See our Whitepaper for the full token distribution breakdown.

PLX is currently a virtual coin within the Parallax Network ecosystem with no official market price. Its future value will be determined by exchange listing, market demand, and the strength of the community. Early miners accumulate PLX at the highest rates before listing — the earlier you mine, the more PLX you will have when trading begins.

While both follow a mobile-first, mine-before-list model, PLX Network has key differences: a transparent tokenomics model with a hard supply cap from day one, a halving schedule that rewards earlier miners more, an active referral bonus system where simultaneous mining earns extra rewards, daily streak bonuses, and a 2x boost feature. PLX is also fully cloud-based — no app needs to stay open.

Mining is 100% server-side. When you tap "Start Mining", a 24-hour session begins on our cloud servers. Our servers credit PLX to your account every few minutes based on your mining rate. You can completely close the app — your phone doesn't need to be on, connected, or even charged. Your balance grows automatically until the session ends.

No. Mining runs entirely on our cloud servers. Your phone does nothing in the background. Data usage only occurs when you open the app to check your balance or start a new session — this is a few kilobytes at most. Battery and CPU usage is effectively zero.

The app shows a live ticker updating every second using our real-time interpolation algorithm. The server credits your actual balance every 10 minutes. When you open the app, it syncs instantly with the latest server balance. The ticker display always accurately reflects your earnings based on elapsed session time.

Your final balance is automatically credited to your account by our server. You can immediately tap "Start Mining" to begin a new session — there is no cooldown or waiting period. Sessions end exactly 24 hours after they start, and you always receive credit for the full session regardless of when our server processes it.

Your base mining rate starts at 0.010 PLX/hr. It increases permanently by +0.1 PLX/hr for every person who joins using your referral code. Additionally, when your referrals are actively mining at the same time as you, you earn an extra +0.3 PLX/hr per active referral (temporary, session-only bonus). Early adopters also receive higher base rates — the sooner you join, the higher your starting rate.

The 2x boost doubles your effective mining rate for 1 hour. To activate it, tap the boost button on the dashboard and watch a short ad. The boost is applied instantly to your active session. You can use the boost multiple times — each ad watch gives one hour of 2x speed. Boosts do not stack; each activation replaces the previous one and resets the timer.

Each consecutive day you start a mining session, your streak counter increases. Reaching streak milestones unlocks one-time PLX bonus rewards: Day 3 gives 5 PLX, Day 7 gives 15 PLX, Day 14 gives 35 PLX, Day 30 gives 100 PLX, Day 60 gives 250 PLX, and Day 100 gives 400 PLX. If you miss a day your streak resets to zero. Your longest streak is always tracked in your profile.

Pioneer is a manually assigned role for the earliest and most dedicated community members — it carries special recognition and is never auto-changed. Veteran is earned by users with 100+ mining sessions and 10+ referrals, indicating long-term commitment to the network. Miner is the default role for all new users. Roles are displayed as badges on your profile.

Yes — this is by design. PLX Network uses a halving schedule where new mining rewards decrease each year: Year 1 distributes 250M PLX, Year 2 distributes 175M PLX, and Year 3 distributes 125M PLX. This means the earlier you mine, the higher your effective rate compared to later miners. Existing users' rates are not reduced — new joiners simply start at progressively lower base rates as time goes on.

Yes. PLX Network is available globally. Since mining is cloud-based, your session continues regardless of your location, timezone, or whether your phone has signal. As long as you start a session before going offline, it will run for the full 24 hours on our servers.

Each account gets a unique 8-digit referral code. When someone new joins PLX Network using your code, two things happen immediately: your permanent mining rate increases by +0.1 PLX/hr forever, and you receive a one-time +0.1 PLX bonus credit. There is no cap on referrals — every person you bring in compounds your rate permanently.

In addition to the permanent rate boost, you earn an extra +0.3 PLX/hr for every referral who is actively mining at the same time as you. This bonus is added to your current session rate automatically when your referral starts a session, and removed when their session ends. If you are not mining when your referral starts, the bonus is queued and applied the next time you start a session.

No limit at all. Every person who joins using your code permanently increases your mining rate by +0.1 PLX/hr. With 10 referrals your rate is +1.0 PLX/hr higher than your base. With 50 referrals it is +5.0 PLX/hr. The system is designed to reward active community builders generously.

No. Self-referrals are not permitted and are automatically detected by our system. Creating multiple accounts to exploit the referral system is a violation of our Terms of Service and will result in permanent bans for all associated accounts.

Your referral code is shown on the Referrals tab in the app. Tap the share icon to send your unique referral link directly. Your code is also visible in your Profile. Note: your referral code is only unlocked after you apply someone else's referral code first.

You are not required to apply a referral code, but it is highly recommended — both you and the person who referred you benefit. If someone shared a link with you, the code will be automatically detected and shown on your dashboard when you first log in. You can apply it with one tap. Once applied, it cannot be changed.

Open the Referrals tab in the app. You will see a ring indicator showing how many of your referrals are currently active vs inactive, a list of all referred users (with masked emails for privacy), their join dates, session counts, and a +0.3/hr badge for each one currently mining. Tap any referral to see their full detail sheet.

Your 8-digit User ID is displayed in the app under the Profile tab. It is also shown on the Referrals screen. You can copy it with one tap. Your User ID is useful when contacting support.

No. Each person is permitted one account only. Multi-accounting to exploit the mining or referral systems is strictly prohibited. Our system tracks device fingerprints and cross-references account activity — violations result in permanent bans of all associated accounts with no appeal.

Visit plxnetwork.com/delete-account or email support@plxnetwork.com with your account email. All data including your PLX balance, sessions, and personal information will be permanently deleted within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.

All PLX balance is permanently forfeited upon account deletion and cannot be recovered. We strongly recommend waiting until after the exchange listing before deleting your account if you have a significant balance. Deletion is irreversible.

On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You will receive a password reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam/junk folder if it doesn't arrive. The link expires after 24 hours — if it expires, simply request a new one.

First check your spam or junk folder — verification emails sometimes land there. If you still can't find it, go back to the app's sign-in screen and use the "Resend Verification Email" option. Verification emails expire after 24 hours. If you continue to have issues, contact support@plxnetwork.com.

Email change is not currently available directly in the app. If you need to change your email, contact support@plxnetwork.com with your current account email and the new address you want to use. Our team will assist you.

PLX Network sends notifications for: session completion reminders (2 hours before end), session complete alerts, daily mining reminders (7 PM), boost expiry alerts, streak rewards, and personalized announcements from the team. You can enable or disable notifications in the app's Menu → Settings at any time.

Yes. We use industry-standard security throughout: all data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS, passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text, Row Level Security (RLS) ensures users can only access their own data, and authentication tokens expire regularly. Our infrastructure runs on Supabase — a SOC 2 compliant platform.

We collect only what is necessary: your email address, hashed password, User ID, referral code, mining sessions, balance, and transaction history. We do not collect your real name, phone number, location, financial information, contacts, camera, or microphone data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

We collect minimal device information (model, OS version, screen size, timezone, language, and app version) for the purpose of fraud prevention and ensuring one account per person. This data is never shared with third parties and is not used for advertising targeting. It is stored securely and only accessible to our team.

Contact us immediately at support@plxnetwork.com with your account email. Change your password immediately using the reset flow in the app. We will review your account activity and take appropriate action. Do not share your password or login link with anyone.

Your PLX balance is stored securely on our servers and is not affected by your device being lost, replaced, or reset. As long as you remember your email and password, you can log in on any Android device and access your full balance. The only ways to lose your balance are: account deletion (your choice) or a ban for Terms of Service violations.

No. PLX Network does not request or use access to your contacts, camera, microphone, GPS location, or any sensitive device permissions. The only permissions requested are for notifications (optional) and internet access (required for mining). You can review all app permissions in Android Settings → Apps → PLX Network.

After the exchange listing, PLX will be tradeable on supported exchanges. You will be able to hold, trade, or withdraw PLX to an external wallet. Specific exchange partners will be announced closer to the listing date. The team is also planning utility features within the PLX ecosystem for token holders.

PLX uses a 3-year halving model: Year 1 distributes 250,000,000 PLX to miners, Year 2 distributes 175,000,000 PLX, and Year 3 distributes 125,000,000 PLX. Each year fewer tokens are distributed to a (presumably) larger user base — making early-mined PLX proportionally more valuable. After Year 3, the mining phase ends and no new PLX is created.

Yes. 10% (100M PLX) is allocated to the team with a 2-year vesting schedule and a 6-month cliff. This means no team tokens are released until 6 months after launch — protecting community miners from early sell pressure. See the full token distribution in our Whitepaper.

12% of the total supply (120M PLX) is reserved for exchange liquidity. This allocation is locked until the end of the mining phase and will be paired with capital reserves on day one of trading to ensure stable, deep liquidity on the exchange. This prevents extreme price volatility at launch.

Peer-to-peer PLX transfers are not available during the mining phase. All PLX remains within the platform until the exchange listing. This is a common design choice for mine-first projects — it prevents early speculation and ensures the token reaches the market with a strong user base behind it.
